Summer 2017 has been lovely.

Yes, we've had stupidly hot periods, but here it is August and we are enjoying 65 degrees in the mornings. The light is beautiful, the birds, butterflies, bees are all plentiful.

The gardens are glorious, the animals all well.

We enjoyed a week in Cost Rica at Capitan Suizo in April and a long weekend down at Kitty Hawk for our 34th anniversary.

My real estate business is perfectly busy, I've hired an assistant, and we are beginning work now planning for 2018. Stephen's business is doing well, and he has tomatoes, green beans, and peppers on the vines this summer. Looking forward to our annual two weeks at Ocracoke soon :-) .
